Camera is also useful and necessary.
But if you only use it in your house to pretect your baby or pet, it would be no useful to use high quality image and good speaker

2. Which function in ip camera you should pay more attention?
For example, you think alarm function is very useful for you as you hope you can get immediate alarm information when somthing
happen in ip camera. Then a SD Card slot on ip camera will be useful. As you can think, ip camera always stored alarm picture and
transfer it to FTP server or send to your email address. But traditional transfering way may lose much picture data when network is not
good, actually this happens in many countries which don't have a good network. So a SD Card can stored the picture and use this
SDHC card as a buffer memory, when network isn't good, it can stored the image picture data and send it later.
At the same time, if you need connect it with outside alarm warner, you should a port which have one input and one output alarm port.
