IP-Camera-Lens-Dimension-View-Distance-Angle-Relations

Many customers don't know IP Camera's View angle and Distance before they buy this web camera, actually lens dimension, view angle and distance have relations.

Certainly not each IP Camera can adjust view angle manually or automatically, CIP Cam some network cameras lens can adjust view angle so have different view distance, but some ip cameras can't adjust lens, so they are fixed view distance and angle after they are manufactured.

What is the relation between lens dimension,view angle ,and view distance, different ip camera manufacturers may have different test data and standard, but below is referrence for most factory, if using CCD sensor, that is always 1/3 Sony CCD in below data
